Safeguarding Your Funds
BANKORO maintains safeguarding measures to protect your funds by:
- Segregation of Funds
- We keep client funds separate from our own funds. Client money is held in specially designated safeguarding accounts with regulated banking institutions, clearly identified as client funds.
- Protection in Case of Insolvency
- Funds held in safeguarding accounts are legally protected and remain separate from BANKORO’s operational funds. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, client funds are protected from claims by our creditors.
- No Interest on Client Funds
- As an EMI, BANKORO does not pay interest or provide other monetary benefits on safeguarded client funds.
- Regular Reconciliation and Monitoring
- We conduct daily reconciliations of safeguarded funds to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Regular audits and independent reviews are conducted to maintain ongoing compliance.
- Transparency and Accountability
- BANKORO ensures transparent communication with clients regarding safeguarding procedures. Our safeguarding processes are reviewed regularly and audited independently to ensure continued compliance with FCA regulations.
- Regulatory Oversight
- BANKORO complies fully with all FCA safeguarding requirements, reporting regularly and transparently to regulatory bodies to uphold the highest standards of client fund protection.
